Kayford remains as official 2018 World Cup mascot products licensee

Having been endorsed with the exclusive rights to manufacture and sell licensed products of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, Kayford Holdings has retained its position for the upcoming 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. 

At the launch ceremony for the 2018 FIFA World Cup’s official licensed products in China, Kayford announced that they had retained the exclusive rights to manufacture, price and sell products including the official mascot and dozens of other licensed products around the world (except Russia). 

It was also announced that the company had taken part in planning the products and designing the “Stereoscopic” image of the mascot.

After the announcement, they kicked off the selling of mascot products on major Chinese online shopping malls, including Alibaba and its subsidiary malls Tmall and Taobao, as well as JD.com and Suning. 

Founded in 2013 and based in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, Kayford Holdings is  focused on designing, developing and marketing the licensed products of sports events and clubs. 

Over the past 4 years, the company has captured the rights to operate the licensed products of the 2014 FIFA World Cup, 2015 FIFA Women’s World Cup, Euro 2016 and  the UEFA Champions League (2014-2018).Clubs such as AC Milan, VfL Wolfsburg and Borussia Dortmund have also endorsed their rights to the company.
