ANTA now the No.1 Chinese apparel retailer in market value

ANTA Sports became the No. 1 apparel retailer in market value at the end of December 2017, according to a report by china-ef.com.

As shown in the report, the share price of ANTA has risen by 56% to a market value of about 81.2 billion yuan, followed by Hailan Home’s 44.2 billion yuan.

The report also cited a UBS research that ANTA has been stepping up its Multi-brand Strategy over the past 2 years, with its acquisitions of brands like Kolon Sport and KingKow. The research also predicts that ANTA will complete 2 purchase deals each year and whiteness an even further growth in profit during the next three years.

The retailer has now included ANTA, ANTA KIDS, FILA, FILA KIDS, DESCENTE, KOLON SPORT, Kingkow and NBA brands into its marketing portfolio. The brand seems interested in all segments of the sportswear industry, from mass to high-end consumers, from adults to kids markets and from professional to public businesses.
