Inter Milan partners with Chinese watch brand Sea-Gull

Serie A side Internazionale Milano has partnered with Chinese watch brand Sea-Gull, making the latter an Official Partner of the Chinese region. 

This is one of a number of Chinese regional partnerships the club has entered into in recent times after partnerships with Meten, Roborock, MONALISA and lvmama.com.

Under the partnership, Sea-Gull launched a customized Inter Milan sports-style mechanical wristwatch. The watch was decorated in the famous blue and black colors of Inter Milan club, with the club logo of Inter Milan imprinted at the 6 o’clock position. The watch is able to show the time in another time zone and the days of the week. 

Sea-Gull positions the watch as a limited edition, with 5,000 pieces to sell and has offered prebookings. It will be sold exclusively on Suning’s e-retailing platform, Suning.com. The company is accepting bookings for the piece now and is priced at CNY1,980 with each person able to book 2 pieces at most. The website shows that currently, 1,166 watches have been prebooked even though Sea-Gull has only just announced the launch of this watch on their website on Friday, July 20. 

Sea-Gull, based in Tianjin, is one of the well-known Chinese wristwatch brands. The brand has a history dating back to 1955 according to public information. The company’s headquarters in Tianjian were registered in 1981.
