Sun Weimin, Vice Chairman of Suning.com and Vice President of Suning Holdings Group, says that under this new partnership, Suning will upgrade collaboration with Samsung in all online and offline channels and keep close collaborations with Samsung for brand communication, market exploitation, fan engagement and marketing around trending topics.

It is understood that Samsung want to improve the sales performance of its mobile phones in the Chinese market after some unsatisfactory results in China.

Previously in 2017, Samsung collaborated with Internazionale Milano, the Serie A football club which is also owned by Suning, to launch a customized Internazionale Milano mobile phone Galaxy S8+.
