‍‍Xu Jingnan, chairman of the board of directors at Peak, revealed in an interview on July 28 that, they have decided to supply clothes and equipments for 10 country’s national team at the 2016 Brazil Olympic Games, including Ukraine, Palestine, etc. 

The number is also likely to increase because negotiations with many national teams are being carried out. 

He said that Peak sponsored seven national teams for clothes and equipments in the 2012 London Olympic Games, just following Adidas in the number of teams sponsored. 

“Our goal is to increase the number to more than ten in 2016, and double the number of medals that are achieved by our sponsored teams,” said Mr Xu. The teams Peak sponsored at the 2012 Games won 7 gold medals, 5 silver medals, and 7 bronze medals in total. 

Xu said that the Ukrain team they sponsored this time was a team with a good medal history. 

Mr Xu said that they also wanted to create a ￥1b fund to assist with the company to do acquisitions domestically and overseas, which is likely to be realized by the end of the year.
