Wang Jianlin, the chairman of real estate conglomerate Dalian Wanda Group, has on board to back the Magic Millions horse-racing carnival on the Gold Coast.
The Magic Millions has attracted many well-known international brands as the sponsors and partners of the horse-racing event over the years, including BMW, Jeep, Paspaley Pearls, Moet & Chandon and RM Williams. But in order to live up to its reputation as the richest day of racing, the Magic Millions Raceday with a prize money of $10 million has got the China’s richest person on board to sponsor its VIP marquee at the the Gold Coast Turf Club on Saturday, January 9, 2016.
Jewel, a joint venture building, invested partially by Mr.Wang, will take over the VIP marquee naming rights from Moet & Chandon. And Jeep will still retain naming rights for the race day.
