AC Milan’s shareholder Mr. Bee to bring F5WC to China

By He Lanying 21 Oct 2015

Weeks after Bee Taechaubol’s completion of an agreement to buy 48 percent of AC Milan from Silvio Berlusconi with an offer of €485 million, the Thai businessman arrived in Beijing on last Friday for sport business in China.

As an investor of the Sport Events International, the organizing body of Football Five's Championship (F5WC), Mr. Bee has reached a strategic partnership deal with Yichunqiu Advertisement, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Chunqiuhong Culture Investment, in Beijing, which sees the Chinese company will become an exclusive business agency of F5WC within Chinese market (HK, Macao and Taiwan).

The two sides have agreed on some detailed schedules and rules about the 2016 F5WC Qualifiers in China. They also signed a letter of intent to host a possible edition of F5WC in China in the future.

Established in 2013, F5WC is the world's largest amateur 5 a side football tournament with TV broadcast covering more than 50 countries. The first two edition of the tournament were held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The 2016 edition will be held in Bangkok from March 2 to 7.
