Robert Lewandowski, the captains of Polish national team and Bayern Munich soccer star, has signed a personal endorsement deal with Huawei.
Under the deal, the Polish international striker will serve as the brand ambassador for Huawei and promote the Chinese brand and its products, especially smartphones, tablets and wearable devices in Poland, Central and Eastern Europe and Scandinavia. Lewandowski joins Arsenal's Alexis Sanchez and Real Madrid's James Rodriguez in becoming a regional ambassador for Huawei.

To meet the expectations of clients and our expanding global brand portfolio, we open ourselves to the global sports, not only by sponsoring football clubs, but also by working with sports stars. We focus on people whose history and personality fit perfectly into the strategy of Huawei."
Huawei is actively involved in sports, especially in football. The Chinese company has established partnership with many sports federations, football clubs and athletes around the world. Its sponsorship portfolio includes Atletico Madrid, Ajax, AC Milan, Dortmund, PSG and Wellington Phoenix etc.
