Chinese Super League side Tianjian Teda Elion FC and water brand Yue Longquan yesterday (January 18) announced a one-year strategic partnership at a press conference held in Tianjin, China.

Under the agreement, Tianjin Teda will kick off the 2016 CSL campaign and compete in the CFA Cup with Yue Longquan-featured kits through the entire season. In addition to the shirt sponsorship, Yue Longquan will also be named the official water partner of Tianjin Teda for both training and matches.

However, the financial terms of the deal were not disclosed by the two sides.

Speaking of the partnership, Pei Shengli, vice president of Yue Longquan, said “Tianjin Teda is a traditional soccer powerhouse in China that have been runners-up in the CSL and Champion in CFA Cup as well as reaching the last 16 in the AFC Champions League.”

“With the support of Yue Longquan, the new Tianjin Teda Elion FC will definitely see better results in the 2016 CSL campaign.”

Tianjin Teda FC is a Tianjin-based professional soccer club. The club has recently secured a lucrative title sponsorship deal with the Elion Group.
