Shandong Luneng Taishan FC, which plays in China’s top football division, the Chinese Super League, and Home Credit Group, an international consumer finance provider, have announced a three-year sponsorship from 2016 through to 2018.
The two sides are committed to work closely together and support the development of football in China during the three-year period.
Founded in 1997, Home Credit Group now has operations in 11 countries, focusing on responsible lending, primarily to people with little or no credit history.
Under the deal, Home Credit’s logo will appear on the sleeve of the CSL club’s new shirt, making it a first in Chinese football for a commercial brand to be displayed there.
The company’s logo will first be displayed on the 5th March, when Shandong Luneng Taishan FC will play their first game of the new CSL season away to Jiangsu Suning FC at Nanjing Olympic Sports Center.
Sun Hua, General Manager of Shangdong Luneng Taishan FC said,” we are very pleased to work together with Home Credit for the next three years. The Chinese Super League will kick off the new season at the weekend. With the support of Home Credit, we hope to get a good result in our first game and provide our fans with a good game experience. ”
