Mike Tyson coming to China to promote boxing

Retired American legend boxer Mike Tyson will soon start a promotional Tour of China for the sport of boxing later this month.

Tyson will firstly attend the ceremony for the 2016 IBF World Championship Bout to be held on the Great Wall in Beijing on 24th May. He will deliver a keynote speech on boxing promotion in China to the 2016 Annual IBF Convention. As well as discussions, Tyson will take part in a round table debate to be organized by IBF China to share his ideas with Chinese boxing experts and insights on approaches to the development of boxing in China. 

Additionally, Tyson will be present at the Beijing Olympic Parks to witness reigning Thai champion Amnat Ruenroeng defend his flyweight world belt against Filipino challenger John Riel Casimero.

The 50 years old has been voted the most popular boxer by Chinese boxing fans according to a poll launched by IBF China on Sina Weibo at the beginning of May.
