China’s leading digital sports media platform Sina Sports yesterday announced a deal for the digital rights to The Boodles Tennis 2016.

Under the terms of the partnership the platform has become the exclusive streamer in China of the tennis tournament. It will be the first time for The Boodles Tennis to be aired live in the country.

Having entered its 15th year, The Boodles is commonly regarded as the “warm-up” for the Wimbledon Championship. The world’s top-seeded tennis superstar Novak Djokovic’s has confirmed his participation in the tournament for the 11th straight year. He will compete alongside the next generation stars including Juan Martin del Potro, Nick Kyrgios, Alexander Zverev, and Borna Coric, with the tournament set to offer the Chinese tennis audience another tennis exhibition to enjoy.

The Boodles is a classic tennis exhibition tournament, and the 2016 edition will start today at the UK’s Stoke Park Country Club.

Sina Sports is currently the web and social media destination for the Australian Open and Roland Garros respectively.
