Inter recently extended Nagatomo’s contract until 3oth June 2019 and increased his annual salary from €1.3 million to €1.5 million. Soon afterwards, Suning purchased a 70% share of Inter. It was rumoured that Inter planned to sell the Japanese player and Schalke 04 from the Bundesliga were reportedly interested. In the end he stayed in Milan though he has been reduced to a fringe player with only rare first team appearances.

Now Sports Hochi report that Yuto Nagatomo is expected to join Jiangsu Suning with an annual salary of 55 billion Yen, roughly 36 million RMB. The clubs are yet to make a decision whether to transfer Yuto Nagatomo or not . He is only 30 years old and still capable of playing for in the CSL.

Currently, the foreign players in the CSL are mostly Korean, Australian and Uzbekistan players, with only a few Japanese Players.
