On January 5, Zhejiang Lander Winter Sports Development Co Ltd. signed a broadcast license agreement (including TV, new media and mobile app) with the Curling Championships Tour (CCT) in Zurich, Switzerland, and got exclusive video distribution rights for all the CCT matches during 2017/2018 Season in China (including Hong Kong and Macao), as well as non-exclusive video distribution rights for matches in Asia.
CCT is an international A class tournament, involving the top National Curling teams in the world, representing the highest level of professional curling. All the participating teams will get world-ranking scores based on their match results, which is also a key channel for them to enter the World Curling Tournament and the Olympic games.
Zhejiang Lander Winter Sports Development Co Ltd. Is a subsidiary of Lander Sports. Back in April 2016, Lander Sports and CCT China GmbH Switzerland reached a collaborative strategic agreement to cooperate on business development and promotions of winter sports events and winter sports training. After reaching the partnership, Lander Sports created Zhejiang Lander Winter Sports Development Co Ltd. as its subsidiary committed to winter sports.
Lander Winter Sports say it has signed strategic agreements with Swiss ski resorts, and would introduce Swiss winter sports projects and management experience to China. It will focus on bringing good skating events and Swiss travel resources to China, as well as helping Chinese provinces to set up and manage winter sports clubs.
