September 17: The National Sports Training Center of China (NSTC) has named an invisible braces service provider Angelalign as one of its sponsors.
Under the terms of their agreement, the pair is looking to release a Smiling Champions Plan, which will see Angelalign provide Chinese national athletes with health services regarding dental orthopedic and oral care.
As Lv Tiehang, deputy director of the NSTC, said, “The plan, as part of our partnership with Angelalign, aims to display a more confident Chinese squad on the international stages through professional dental orthopedic and oral care for them.”
Chen Aisen, gold medalist of the Rio Olympics, shared his understanding of a smile: “As far as I know, dental health is quite important for a champion. I am proud of my bright smile for the cameras after I win a gold medal. I hope China can be proud of me too. A smile is also the best way of self-motivation when we face difficulties in routine training. A smile is a display of self-confidence as well as a recognition of your achievements.”
