Kuanghui, a sports agency unit wholly owned by Hupu Sports Media, has reached a strategic partnership with EHOME E-Sports Club.
The partnership will see Kuanghui become responsible for the business development of EHOME, which includes player endorsement, corporate cooperation, and offline commercial campaigns. The pair is looking to boost their expansion in the eSports market.
China’s eSports industry has made rapid developments in recent years. In the first half of 2017, China saw 99.78 billion yuan in online game sales, reflecting a 26.7% year-on-year growth. That’s why companies like Hupu decided to take action on the growing industry in hopes to take a share of the spoils.
As a professional sports agency, Kuanghui has many long-term partnerships with sports superstars like Shaquille O'Neal, Jeremy Shu-How Lin, Vince Carter, Michael James Owen and Andriy Shevchenko. Currently, its partnerships include more than 100 sports stars and organizations in both China and abroad.
In September, Kuanghui has just added the QG eSports Club to its eSports portfolio.
