ANTA unveils official uniforms for China’s Winter Olympic Teams for Pyeongchang 2018

By Nong Ruowen 28 Dec 2017

Having dressed China’s Olympic Teams over the past four editions of the Summer and Winter Olympic Games (2010-2016), ANTA Sports returns for the upcoming Winter Olympics in Pyeongchang.

At a launch ceremony held in Beijing, the sportswear giant unveiled the official uniforms for China’s Olympic Team for the Pyeongchang 2018 Games following a poetry recital to  a group of guests including Wu Dajing, the Chinese short track speed star.

Unlike the previous red and yellow uniforms these new “Champion Dragon” outfits are in white with a broad red stripe on either shoulders with a red and yellow zip.

Since forming their first partnership in 2009, ANTA has partnered with the Chinese Olympic Committee for two Olympic cycles. In 2010, ANTA joined forces with the Winter Sports Federation of China’s Administration of Sports, which allowed the brand to provide sportswear and equipment to China’s Olympic Team at the Vancouver 2010 and Sochi 2014 Winter Games.

In September 2017, ANTA became the Official Partner of Sports Apparel for the Organizing Committee of the Beijing 2022 Winter and Paralympic Games.

Along with launching the official uniforms, ANTA is working together with Beijing 2022 to develop the winter sports market, dubbed the “winter economy” in China, by carrying out a series of winter sports activities and events.
