The National Youth Basketball Open (NYBO), established September 2017, has launched a partnership plan to ensure the smooth proceeding of the event.
The event was co-established by China Life and Starz International Sports when the Chinese insurance company celebrated its 10-year partnership with Chinese basketball legend Yao Ming. According to the new plan, the organizer is looking for more partners to turn the NYBO into a top Chinese youth basketball event.
The NYBO aims to provide a sports culture exchange platform for Chinese children aged 4-18. The tournaments are divided into the Autumn league (September-January), the Spring league (March to June) and the national finals (July to August). The tourney is divided into seven age groups, including U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U18 can participate the games held on Wednesdays in Chinese cities.
As the title sponsor, China Life has helped the Autumn league of the 2017/18 NYBO make a presence in 10 cities including Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou. The Spring league, expected to kick off in 2018, will expand to 15 Chinese cities.
