Chinese sportswear maker, Li-Ning, has signed a three-year strategic partnership with Longzhidui Fans Club, the first nationwide official fans organization for Chinese soccer.
Under the terms of their partnership, the Chinese brand will provide soccer outfit and cheer uniforms for the organization.
Founded in 2014, Longzhidui currently has 105 fan organization members from 31 Chinese provinces, cities or autonomous regions. Since the Longzhidui Sports APP made its debut at the start of 2017, it had attracted more than 200,000 registered users within a half year.
In September 2017, Longzhidui Sports completed Series A Financing valued at several tens of millions of yuan, aiming to expand its businesses from fans culture promotion to youth soccer training and amateur soccer events.
Li-Ning has also become the outfit sponsor of Shaanxi Chang’an Athletic, a China League Two football club, starting from January 1, 2018. The brand says it is looking to make an increased presence in professional soccer leagues, youth soccer training, fan culture and sports tourism.
