On April 11, Chinese short track speed skater Wu Dajing was named as the brand ambassador of Evergrande Spring and the Global Health Ambassador of Evergrande Agri-husbandry Group.
Under their sponsorship deal, the two sides will work together to promote the development of Evergrande Spring and other products as well as publicize their value of healthy drinking water and diet.
Wu won a gold medal in the Men’s 500 meter short track speed skating with record results at the 2018 Winter Olympic Games in Pyeongchang, becoming the new sports idol for Chinese fans. Evergrande believes that Wu’s passion for success is a perfect fit for their brand values.
As Tang Yi, President of Evergrande Mineral Water Group, said, winning is every athlete’s dream as well as the original will of Evergrande Spring. Therefore, the two partners plan to spread the culture of healthy drinking water, aiming to help the Chinese bottled water market enter the “health 2.0” era.
Evergrande Spring once displayed its logo on shirts front of Guangzhou Evergrande in November 2013, when the team won the title of the AFC Champions League. In addition to this, the drinking water brand was also the official drinking water of Chinese women’s volleyball team.
