Australian Open partner with Chinese real estate developer Foriseland

By Andrea Huang 19 Jun 2018

Tennis Australia today announced a partnership with Chinese real estate developer Foriseland for the 2019 Australian Open, making Foriseland the Official Real Estate Partner on the China mainland.

Under the partnership, Foriseland will use Australian Open tennis events in China to demonstrate the hospitality and experience of the Australian Open and will utilize virtual advertisements to allow more people to become familiar with the high-end residential skyscraper “Spirit” (Fuhua Yaoshi SPIRIT in Chinese version), on the Gold Coast..

Foriseland is a subsidiary of the Chinese company Forise Holdings whose business covers asset management, property, retailing and finance. The  SPIRIT is a 303m high 89-floor residence building designed by the Australian company DBI with a CNY5bn investment from Foreisland. It is located in the urban coastal area of the Gold Coast and faces the South Pacific ocean. When construction is completed, it will be be the tallest new landmark in the area.

In August 2017, Foriseland organized the first global launch ceremony of the Fuhua Yaoshi SPIRIT in Beijing. The project is meant to target Chinese people willing to invest in the Australian real estate market. Therefore, the partnership with the Australian Open will no doubt potentially help with its marketing goals.

Forise Holdings were established in 2013 according to the National Enterprise Credit Information Publicity System.
