Aeon Life sponsors local CSL team Dalian Yi Fang Football Club

Chinese insurance company, Aeon Life, has partnered with the Chinese Super League team, Dalian Yifang Football Club becoming an Official Partner of the team. 

The partnership is said to be going to last until December 31, 2018, according to a representative of Aeon Life. Under the partnership, Aeon Life which is headquartered in Dalian, is going to feature on the back of the Dalian Yi Fang shirt. It will also be branded on the perimeter LED boards during the team’s home games throughout the Chinese Super League and CFA Cup. 

This is the first time Aeon Life have partnered with a CSL team. Dalian Yi Fang were promoted to the CSL for the 2018 season. They are currently ranked 14th in the CSL out of 16 teams with 12 games still to be played in the 2018 season.  

In fact, Aeon Life and Dalian Yi Fang Football Club have some internal associations. One of Aeon Life’s main investors is Dalian Yifang Real Estate Co., Ltd. It is also counted as one of the main strategic investments of Yi Fang Group, according to the Yi Fang Group’s website. On the other hand, Dalian Yifang Real Estate Co., Ltd and Dalian Yifang Group Co., Ltd own Dalian Yi Fang Football Club after they bought it in December 2015. 

Nevertheless, Aeon Life are reported to hopefully want to continue to promote its insurance services in the sports world through this partnership, according to a report on the brand’s official WeChat account. In the past, Aeon Life have also sponsored the 2018 China Cup International Football Championship which is organized by Wanda Sports in Guangxi. They have also sponsored a number of marathons and Ironman events in China. 

Aeon Life was established in 2009 and has a total registered capital of CNY7.7948bn. It has now opened 20 provincial subsidiaries and over 330 various subsidiaries in total around China.
