The Chinese sportswear brand 361° has signed up Chinese singer Tan Weiwei as an ambassador for its new women’s product line. An announcement ceremony and a product launch ceremony were held on October 20 in Chengdu, Sichuan.
The product line that Tan Weiwei will endorse is a women’s sportswear product line targeting young women, which is also seen as 361°’s efforts to march into the profitable women’s market. The product line has not been made available for the market yet but will be officially released in physical stores and on online platforms in January, 2019.
Tan Weiwei is a popular Chinese singer who has also acted in TV dramas. She attended the product launch ceremony on October 20 and was joined by 20 female consumers in finishing a HITT training session. She was featured in a TV commercial for the new product line as well.
According to Jiemian’s report, 361° business report shows that for the first half of 2018, the revenue has increased by 7.8% to CNY3.017bn compared to the first half of 2017, and net profit has increased by 5.3% to CNY335m.
