By Wei Ruili 28 Mar 2019

The 2019 Road to Wimbledon, the All England Lawn Tennis Club's junior tournament for under 14s, has returned to China.

After one week of tryouts in Beijing, the top 8 players will go to Nanjing for the Masters tournament on May 13. The top 2 winners of the Nanjing Masters will go to the UK as the representatives of China for the Road to Wimbledon Finals from August 11 to August 17 with global rising tennis stars at the All England Lawn Tennis Club.

Former famous Chinese sports players such as Li Na and Deng Yaping attended the reception of “the Road to Wimbledon” held by the British Embassy in Beijing.

“Chinese Tennis Association looks forward to forming long-term cooperation with professional organizations like the All England Lawn Tennis Club to provide Chinese talented junior tennis players more access to professional matches,” said by Huang Wei, the deputy president of the Chinese Tennis Association.
