On April 16, the Canadian yoga-inspired athletic apparel brand Lululemon officially announced that Qu Chuxiao has become its first brand endorser in China.
Lululemon has always approached local customers through channels that are more intimate to them, instead of advertising everywhere or using well-known endorsers, in order to build more realistic relationships with customers. So for the first time ever the brand has announced a “brand endorser”.
Yan Yingjian, the Head of Lululemon Asia Pacific, says: “We are very pleased to cooperate with Qu Chuxiao. His optimistic personality and pursuit of an active life perfectly match our brand spirit. We can see the perfect mix of sports and life in him, which is exactly the concept our brand admires.”
Qu Chuxiao played the lead role in the 2019 Chinese film, The Wandering Earth, which set box office records. Regarding this cooperation with Lululemon, Qu declared that it was really an honor to work with Lululemon. “It brings innovative experiences through technical fabrics, and also encourages the integration of sports and life. I really appreciate the positive lifestyle it brings to people.”
