FC Barcelona and the Chinese mobile phone brand OPPO have renewed their partnership for another three years as was announced on July 17 at Sala Roma, Camp Nou. During this period, OPPO will continue to be one of the club’s Global Partners.
The renewed deal will last until June 30, 2022. Prior to the extension, the parties already have an existing four-year partnership that dates back to 2015.
To celebrate this occasion, OPPO released the new OPPO Reno FC Barcelona Edition smartphone on the same day. Decorated in the traditional blaugrana colors of Barcelona, the smartphone comes with different functionalities created especially for the club’s fans. It is the fifth special Barca edition smartphone OPPO have released since partnering with FC Barcelona.
During the next three years, OPPO and the club are going to work on digital content to raise engagement among the fans and will also produce TV advertising. OPPO will also gain visibility on first team match days at the Camp Nou.

OPPO have sponsored many overseas sports properties beyond FC Barcelona, such as the NBA and the French Open and most recently were the official smartphone partner at Wimbledon.
