American outdoor sports brand Discovery Expedition signed an agreement with Tmall. China E-commerce giant officially became the exclusive partner with Discovery Expedition. The General Manager of Discovery Expedition, Peng Xin, Tmall clothes director Liu Xiuyun attended the ceremony. According to the contract, Tmall will be the only E-commerce platform for Discovery Expedition in China. The flagship store and distributors of Discovery Expedition are going to take the advantage of the platform, enlarge the market they captured, provide more options for the buyers.

Peng Xin said on the ceremony that the reason they choosed Tmall is that the platform was more sophisticated, Tmall keep focusing on marketing all the time. Moreover Tmall opened their database to all the stores, which gave them the access to the big data.

Discovery Expedition started their collaboration with Tmall from 2013. After therapid growth in the two past years, Discovery Expedition has 60% of their business online right now, 90% is on Tmall.
