Juventus have taken yet another step in expanding their ever growing horizons after joining the major Chinese social networking site, Sina Weibo. The official Weibo account will offer the club’s ever expanding Chinese fan base a wealth of exclusive content in Chinese native language.

With the Bianconeri’s Asian fanbase rapidly growing, the club have reached out by launching an official profile on China’s most popular social network, which boasts over 600 million users, a similar figure to that of fellow micro-blogging site Twitter.

The club revealed their new profile on their official club website, announcing exclusive materials and competitions dedicated to the growing community. Fans are invited to send in photos showing their ‘Juve pride’ in order to win special prizes.

These will be published on Sina and Tencent, with the latter portal featuring over two million Bianconeri aficionados since first launching back in 2011.

The launch comes ahead of Juventus’ appearance in Shanghai, where they will play Lazio in the Supercoppa Italiana on August 8.
