Chinese companies organize new MMA event

Worldwide MMA Alliance, a new event established by Chinese companies, was officially launched on August 31, Monday in the Beijing International Center which is located in the Central Business District of Beijing.

This new event is the brainchild of Beijing Sihai Kaixuan Sports Investments and Management Limited Company and Beijing Leisheng Sports Development Ltd. Company with the Beijing Bawanglong MMA Center also contributing to the event. 

The organizer announced that the first tournament is slated for December 28 in Tokyo. In 2016, they will start to look for the best fighters using both open public competitions and organized international tournaments with one event being held each year. 

Following the official launch, the event will start to recruit club representatives from around the world.

The organizing company said that they would bring together the leading judges and fighters. In the first event to be held in Tokyo, the fight card will include MMA fighters from China, Japan, Russia, Thailand, Ireland, and America. They have also invited female MMA fighter Tang Jin to be their ambassador.
