On Wednesday (November 25), Manny Pacquiao launched a venture to organize world boxing tournaments in Chengdu, China in conjunction with his Chinese partner.
The movement will see two professional boxing tournaments, which include an intercontinental boxing tournament and a world boxing tournament, being introduced to the Southwestern Chinese city next April when Pacquiao himself will also land in the city. These competitions will be sponsored and organized by this newly established company on a regular basis into the future.
Additionally, Le Sports, one of leading sports companies, launched a dedicated Pacquiao boxing channel on the same day.
Manny Pacquiao is one of the best-known boxers in the world and was the 2nd highest paid athlete in the world as of 2015. Le Sports established this partnership with Pacquiao early in June when the deal was signed in his home town of General Santons in the Philippines. The agreement will see the building of a large online-to-offline boxing platform in China.
