Juventus have announced plans which will please their Chinese fans through a unique digital platform: the Juventus Chinese Digital Fan Community.
According to an official report posted yesterday, the community is a result of the Bianconeri’s recent partnership with Luvfans (Chinese:乐粉网) , a Chinese network technology company that focuses on celebrities’ fan engagement.
On this platform, their Chinese supporters can find activities designed exclusively for them. There will be original merchandising and the chance to experience Juventus in person with the Fly to Turin competition, which offers lucky contestants a flight to Italy and tickets to Juventus Stadium to watch a game as the club’s guests.
Juventus have been making efforts to expand their social media networks in the country, from Sina Weibo, Tencent Wechat and Mobile Apps to Baidu Post Bar.
“China represents an enormous catchment area,” explains Federico Palomba, Head of Marketing and Digital at Juventus. “There are millions of fans who regularly follow us on social media. Until now, we've been lacking a tool that brings them all together and provides a single reference point. Now that we've built this official platform, our Chinese fans will have the opportunity to join a huge community that we'll be dedicating a great deal of time and attention to.”
