By Yutang Sports 02 Nov 2016

Yutang Sports organized its first Sponsorship Promotion Summit in Beijing on Tuesday November 1st. Almost 170 representatives from around 150 Chinese companies attended yesterday’s event.

This summit was aimed at introducing available sports sponsorship projects for Chinese companies in 2017.

There are now more than 360 sports sponsorship projects covering 15 sports from over 30 countries and regions in Yutang Sports Sponsorship Business Department. The categories include Chinese and overseas sports events, sports properties, players, and others.

For 2017, the Yutang Sports sponsorship platform will work with major events like the 2017 TOTAL BWF World Championships, the 2017 ITTF World Championships, the 2017 Montreux Volley Master, the 2017 Asian Sr. Women’s Volleyball Championship, the 2017 Beijing Half Marathon and the 2017 Air + Style Beijing. There will also be cooperations with major sports clubs from the EPL, La Liga and CSL as well as from snooker, football, basketball players etc.

Sports sponsorship is one of the three major businesses of Yutang Sports. The two other businesses are media and the Sports Business Institute. “The aim of Yutang Sports is to connect the Chinese sports industry with the international industry”, according to Mr Li Jiang, Executive Director of Yutang Sports.

The summit invited guests from other Chinese sports industry companies, such as SECA, Charm Group and Peak. Partners of Yutang Sports (including snooker players Mark Selby, Stuart Bingham and Shaun Murphy), sports properties like Ligue 1, and corporate clients like Royally-Touch Flooring sent recorded speeches to the summit.

As the Chinese sports industry and the Chinese sponsorship market grow, more and more sports entities, organizations, and properties from China and overseas will participate in this market. Yutang Sports look forward to developing this market, connecting China and the world.
