The Chinese poker brand Legend Poker announced on June 6 that they had raised 15 million RMB ($2.2m) in their Pre-A financing round. Investors include Plum Ventures, Cyanhill Capital, plus individual investors such as Sinovation Ventures’ founder Kaifu Lee, Zero2IPO Group’s founder Ni Zhengdong, and Resources Investment’s founder Yang Xiangyang.

As reported by PEdaily.cn, the Chinese financial news website, Legend Poker will invest the money in on-line promotions to increase user numbers. 

Legend Poker has been dedicated to delivering off-line poker competitions to Texas Hold'em enthusiasts over the past 2 years. Around 600 competitions have taken place in cities around China including Beijing, Shanghai and Shenzhen.

Additionally, Legend Poker has launched the Legend Poker App which allows them to connect their on-line and off-line business activities.
