The snow and ice entertainment venue, Harbin Wanda Ski Park, a main feature of Harbin Wanda City, has signed agreements with nine sports governing bodies and teams, including Liaoning Provincial Winter Sports Federation, Harbin Municipal Winter Sports Training Center, Shenyang Sport University and the Haidian District Beijing skiing team. These agreements will see Harbin Wanda Ski Park secure training facilities for these teams.
Alongside the partners listed, hundreds of skiers from Xinjiang, Heilongjiang and other parts of China have used the park for their summer training, which opened in July and lasts until November.
According to Wanda, Harbin Wanda Ski Park is the world's largest indoor snow park and offers 6 different ski slopes situated on 3 levels (Beginners, Amateur and Professional), an 80-meter vertical drop, and the longest snow track that stretches 500 meters in length. The world's largest indoor ski resort also contains the most vertical drops and can host 3,000 skiers. A 15,000 square meter snow entertainment area is also available inside the ski resort to provide families with all kinds of fun snow activities. International-standard skating rinks allow both international sporting competitions and mass skating events to take place at the venue.
