August 17: The newly promoted Chinese Super League (CSL) club Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng has reached a strategic agreement with Shenling Technology, which will see the Guangzhou-based company provide big data support for the club’s youth training project.
This move follows the recent news that the CSL Elite Youth League named Beijing-based Vive Sports & Entertainment Company as its Performance Monitoring Partner.
Under their agreement, Shenling will become the club’s service provider of smart devices, software systems and big data.
The pair, expected to make Guanshanhu District of Guiyang City as its pilot place, is planning to improve the training process of U12 and U13 youth players through data collection and analysis. In other words, coaches will be able to learn about player performance in training and games by analyzing the data transferred from the smart chips worn by players.
In addition to this, Shenling is also looking to help the club in establishing its U15 team and making scientific training plans.
Guizhou was promoted from second-tier China League One to the CSL for the first time in its history at the start of this year.
