German sports club, Hamburger SV (HSV), has reached an agreement with its Chinese partner, Changshi Sports, to offer children in China between the ages of 5 to 13 the opportunity to take part in football training starting August 2018.
According to their agreement, in the first stage, the two sides will open football schools in Harbin, Ji’nan, Luzhou and Zigong, and will expand their youth training business to more Chinese cities.
HSV will bring their professional teaching materials and methods to China and provide Chinese coaches training opportunities in Germany as well as teaching access to HSV football schools in China.
At the same time, the two partners plan to establish football camps in both Chinese and German markets for local young players.
According to, Florian Riepe, Hamburger SV Head of Marketing, the number of HSV football schools has reached 11,000, which makes HSV one of the most successful football clubs in Germany. In the future, HSV will utilize their experience to broaden their business in Chinese market.
HSV is a German sports club based in Hamburg, with its largest branch being its football department. The current HSV was founded in June 1919 from a merger of three earlier clubs.
