After the launch of a series of youth training partnerships in China in December, Eintracht Frankfurt officially opened its office in China on April 24, making it the sixth Bundesliga team to set up base in China. Fredi Bobic, the President and Sports Executive of the Club, came to Beijing for the opening ceremony alongside Yang Chen and Che Fangen, the two global ambassadors of the Club.
Li Xin, the Director of the Club’s office in China, revealed that office operations will focus on three categories: cooperation in football, brand communication and sponsorship.
Based on partnerships with Chinese football organizations established in the past six months, Eintracht Frankfurt has found its preferred model. They have kicked off training camps with the Federation of University Sports of China and the China School Sports Federation. They have also made football video tutorials based on their rich experience accumulated over the past years in youth training and covering 9 basic football skills. These videos will be provided to schools and universities all over the country via the Federations of Sports of China, in order to help grassroots trainers/coaches and players master standard football skills.
