By Yutang Sports 04 Nov 2014

According to Sina, the owner of AC Milan Mr. Berlusconi and his daughter Barbara Berlusconi, met with a Hong Kong tycoon Richard Lee for matters relating to Chinese market development.

AC Milan wants to increase its sales using the powerful consumer population in China, as well as to improve in business development.

La Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttosport reported that Mr. Berlusconi met with Mr. Lee during AC Milan's game with Fiorentina. Richard Lee is the CEO of Wo Kee Hong Group in Hong Kong. Italian media reported that Mr. Lee was very important to Mr. Berlusconi in the far east region, as he had helped many Italian luxury brands enter the Chinese market, such as Ferrari and Maserati, and that Mr. Berlusconi and his daughter hope that he can help AC Milan achieve the same result .

They paid much attention this time. After Mr. Berlusconi met with him, Barbara Berlusconi, also a senior excutive of the club, had another meeting with him on October 28.

Due to an economic weakness in Italy these few years, Serie A has suffered from decreased commercial development and foreign funds attractions. AC Milan’s situation has turned better this year. Now they seem to be emphasizing the Chinese market for business opportunities.

Two years ago, the club cooperated with Guangzhou Evergrande FC in football training.
