Yutang to partner with SPONSORs Business Summit

By Chen Yaping 28 Jan 2016

We are glad to announce that Yutang Sports has become an official media partner of Germany-based SPONSORs Business Summit (SpoBis), which has been Europe’s leading annual sports business conference for over ten years.

As the premier sports marketing platform in China, Yutang aims to keep Chinese readers up to date with the latest trends in sports marketing, sports media, sports clubs and the current status of the European sports market.

The 2016 SpoBiS will take place on 1-2 February at the CCD Congress Center Düsseldorf. Because of the focus on sponsorship it has become a major event for advertising enterprises. Sponsors will include the likes of Adidas, Audi, BMW, Capelli Sport, Coca Cola, HTC, Mercedes-Benz, Microsoft, Samsung, Tipico and Volkswagen.

According to the 2016 programme, Tipico’s Managing Director, Christian Gruber, and Bet-at-Home’s Director of Marketing, Michael Gierke, will represent the sports betting industry. These two companies alone will invest a cumulative total of almost 15 million euros in German professional football during the 2015/16 season. Decision-makers from ARAG, Audi, BMW, Deutsche Post, Deutsche Telekom, Falken Tyre, HTC, Intersport, Mercedes-Benz and SAP will share other case studies on sponsorship from the industry.

Media as a growth driver will form a further focus. Christian Seifert, Chairman of the Management Board, DFL, will discuss the tender for the audiovisual rights of the football Bundesliga from the 2017/18 season. Peter Hutton, who has been CEO at Eurosport since March 2015, will explain what the Discovery subsidiary is planning with the broadcasting rights for the Olympic Games from 2018 to 2024. Besides Eurosport, representatives from other media enterprises including ProSiebenSat.1, RTL and Sport Bild will also take the stage.
