French clothing brand Le Coq Sportif has agreed a title sponsorship deal with the China LPGA on the 2016 Beijing Ladies Classic to be held in Shunyi from 19th to 21st May.

The deal will see the China LPGA Tour’s 4th event of the year named Le Coq Sportif Beijing Ladies Classic.

“Le Coq Sportif have always followed the development of the China LPGA. Through sponsorship of the China LPGA Tour, (we) hope that the brand awareness and reputation of Le Coq Sportif will be improved in China, “ said Wang Ke, managing director at Le Coq Sportif China.

“We hope to (help) spot more talented (female) golf players in China and drive the growth of the sport in China through the partnership, ” Wang added.

Le Coq Sportif is a French-based clothing brand. It has been the title sponsor of Shanghai Youth Golf Tour for years. The brand has also signed with the China LPGA champion player Shi Yuting.
