On April 26, Chinese Super League club, Hebei China Fortune Football Club, announced a football youth training partnership deal with the Bundesliga outfit, FC Schalke 04.
As reported by Tencent Sports, Hebei China Fortune and Schalke 04 signed the agreement at the beginning of 2018. Under the agreement, the two sides will work together to identify and develop young football talent in the future, as well as developing youth training coaches and scouts. Youth-training related football events and data support are also two priorities of this partnership.
Tencent Sports have also reported that Schalke 04 will send youth training coaches to China, to act as coaches of the Hebei China Fortune U9-U15 teams providing no less than 2 German coaches to each team. As of now, 5 German coaches have arrived at Hebei China Fortune’s youth training base in Ningbo, China.
Over the next few weeks, Schalke’s youth training experts, including scouting team, data technicians, physical training instructors and psychology teachers will reportedly arrive at Hebei China Fortune’s youth training base.
Regarding the development of youth training coaches, Schalke 04 will send a group of experts to deliver training projects to Chinese coaches of Hebei China Fortune and other youth training coaches in Hebei Province.
At the end of the project, these experts will assess the trainees and the successful Hebei China Fortune’s coaches will get a promotion, while qualified youth training coaches from Hebei Province will be recruited in coaching positions for Hebei China Fortune’s youth teams.
Hebei China Fortune Football Club is a professional Chinese football club based in Langfang, Hebei. Their current owners are real estate developers China Fortune Land Development who took over the club on 27 January 2015.
Currently, the club has 9 youth teams and all of them are (or will be) under foreign coaches with a Japanese coaching team taking the reigns of the U19, U17 and U16 teams, while the U9-U15 teams will be coached by the German coaches sent by Schalke 04.
