The Chinese sportswear brand Qiaodan Sports have signed an endorsement deal with Chinese mainland actress Tang Yixin. Tang announced the partnership on her Weibo account on July 20.
Born in 1989, Tang Yixin is known for her roles in some popular TV dramas in the past few years, such as Empresses in the Palace (pinyin: Zhenhuan Zhuan) and The Advisors Alliance (pinyin: Junshi Lianmeng). She recently married a Chinese actor, which drew lots of public attention.
Qiaodan will offer an offline consumer activity on August 3 in Shanghai as a part of this new partnership, according to Tang’s Weibo post. The activity calls for female customers to wear training clothes that Tang wore in Qiaodan’s posters and have a group workout on that day.
Signing up Tang as a brand ambassador aligns well with Qiaodan’s ambassadorial strategies. The brand says on its website, it develops ambassadors in a few different fields, including basketball, training, running and female market. Tang matches their strategy of developing the general female consumer market.
Besides Tang Yixin, the other ambassadors for Qiaodan sports include Lester Hudson (CBA player), Wu Qian (CBA player), Su Minghui (CBA player), Gu Yuezhuo (CBA player), Guo Kai (CBA player), Jiao Anjing (marathon runner) and Lin Junhong (athletic player).
